The penthouse was rebuilt in 2023 with a brief that fit on one page: quiet luxury, no clutter, and a kitchen you'd actually want to cook in. Every surface was chosen by a local Brisbane studio, from the Queensland walnut floors to the honed Calacatta benchtops in the ensuite. Nothing here came out of a catalogue.

A decade of getting the top floor right
We've been running the penthouse since 2016, and the first version looked nothing like this. Guests told us the space felt cold, so we added the reading nook, the wine fridge, and a proper sound system you can actually use without a manual. Every change came from a complaint or a compliment we wrote down.
Our butler team is five people deep, all Brisbane locals with at least eight years on the floor. They know which chef to call for a late dinner, which florist delivers before 7am, and which side of the terrace gets the afternoon sun without the wind.

We take responsible service of alcohol seriously — any private chef dinner including wine service is subject to the same guidelines as our lobby bar, and we reserve the right to decline service to anyone showing signs of intoxication.
